Metoda „falsul accident” în București: Suspecți reținuți

Four individuals are suspected of orchestrating scams using the 'fake accident' method, convincing drivers they caused accidents and damaged phones. Police identified three men and one woman, seizing cash and nine mobile phones during searches. The suspects approached drivers after traffic maneuvers, claiming they hit a pedestrian. A woman would then allege her phone was run over, demanding thousands in compensation. One case involved a driver who was misled into paying 7,000 lei for a supposed phone worth 8,000 lei. Investigators found more victims and arrested three suspects, while one remains at large. The investigation continues under the supervision of the Prosecutor's Office.
