A Ukrainian citizen was arrested for attempting to defraud a woman of 180,000 lei using spoofing. The victim reported the incident to authorities before any money was transferred. Police apprehended the suspect shortly after he received two envelopes from the woman, believing they contained the requested amount. He is now facing charges for attempted fraud, while other accomplices are still being sought.
