An Ethiopian woman was found hiding under a blanket in a car at Calafat while attempting to illegally enter Romania. The vehicle, driven by a Macedonian citizen, was en route from Greece to Germany. The discovery occurred during a border police operation on September 14. The woman lacked valid travel documents and was subsequently taken into custody by Bulgarian authorities. Both she and the driver face legal charges for attempting to cross the border illegally.
