Romania is under a yellow alert for storms, with heavy rain and strong winds expected in several regions, including Bucharest. Meteorologists predict atmospheric instability, with thunderstorms and hail possible. The alert is in effect from 12:00 to 21:00 on July 24, covering much of Muntenia and parts of Transylvania and Moldova. Rainfall amounts could reach up to 50 l/m² in some areas.
