Meteorologii au emis noi avertizări de caniculă și furtuni. Mateescu: Ploile „nu vor compensa lipsa acută” de apă

Meteorologists have issued new heat and storm warnings across Romania, with temperatures reaching up to 39 degrees Celsius. Elena Mateescu from ANM stated that while there will be some rain, it won't be enough to alleviate the severe drought conditions. The heat wave is expected to persist, especially in the west, with high humidity levels causing discomfort. Storms are anticipated, particularly in mountainous areas, with strong winds and heavy rainfall. The warnings are in effect until Saturday morning, with a possibility of extending them due to ongoing high temperatures.
