Romania is experiencing drastic weather changes, with heatwaves followed by storms and heavy rain. Meteorologists have issued warnings for July 19-21. On Sunday, a heat alert is in effect for several regions, with temperatures reaching 34-37 degrees Celsius. From Sunday afternoon, parts of Moldova and Transylvania will face orange alerts for heavy rain and strong winds, with possible hail. Rainfall could reach 40-60 liters per square meter in a few hours. The weather instability will shift to other regions by Monday, including Maramureș and Dobrogea.
