Romania is facing a heatwave with temperatures reaching up to 39 degrees Celsius. The National Meteorological Administration has issued a warning for extreme heat from July 30 to August 3. The heat will intensify, particularly in the western and southwestern regions, with high humidity levels. Areas like Banat, Crișana, and Oltenia will be affected, and the heat will spread to Maramureș and Transylvania by the end of the week. Night temperatures will also be high, around 20-24 degrees. This heatwave is expected to persist into the following week, with a yellow alert issued for several counties.
