Mesaje de „SOS” și „Ajutor” au apărut pe albia unui lac aproape complet secat de la granița Franței cu Elveția

Lake Brenets, straddling the French-Swiss border, is nearly dry, prompting locals to write "HELP" and "SOS" in its bed. Water levels have dropped significantly, with only 9 meters remaining, affecting local fish populations. The lake, usually fed by the Doubs River, is experiencing alarming low levels, nearing a historical low from 1906. A working group was formed in 2022 to address water infiltration issues, but no progress has been made. Local residents express frustration over the recurring droughts, feeling abandoned by authorities as the lake dries up more frequently.
