The cost of a 10 kWh battery ranges from 8,000 to 24,000 lei, and the payback period varies significantly based on the battery type and price. The government’s Casa Verde Baterii 2026 program offers vouchers up to 15,000 lei, potentially reducing payback to 2-5 years. Additionally, prosumers can engage in energy trading by charging batteries during low tariff periods and discharging during peak times, further enhancing savings.
