Mercenarul Horațiu Potra, plasat sub control judiciar de Înalta Curte

The Supreme Court has replaced house arrest with judicial control for mercenary Horațiu Potra. His son and grandson, previously under judicial control, are now free from restrictions. They had been under judicial control since April after five months in preventive detention. In November 2025, they were brought back from Dubai, facing serious charges related to destabilizing Romania. Prosecutors allege they planned to infiltrate protests following the annulment of the December 2024 elections to incite chaos. The case is currently in the preliminary chamber phase.
