International basketball returns to Oradea Arena this weekend with the Antonio Alexe Memorial featuring CSM CSU Raiffeisen Oradea, Szolnok Olajbanyasz, and Bosna Sarajevo. The tournament runs from Friday to Sunday, providing crucial tests for the Oradea team ahead of the new season. The opening match is on September 4 at 18:00, where Oradea faces Szolnok. On September 5, Szolnok will compete against Bosna at the same hour. The tournament concludes on September 6 with Bosna playing Oradea at 17:00. This event, honoring Antonio Alexe, a key figure in Oradea's basketball history, will also announce the team captain for the 2026-2027 season. Admission is free for spectators.
