The ceasefire will enable non-military teams from both countries to coordinate evacuations and document the process. Approximately 1,700-2,000 people remain in Oleșki, significantly down from its pre-war population of 24,000. Melania worked directly with Russian and Ukrainian leaders to establish the ceasefire terms.
