Ahold Delhaize, the parent group, reported security issues that temporarily disabled some systems, impacting stores in Belgium and the Netherlands. Despite these challenges, the stores remain open. In Romania, Ahold operates over 1,000 Mega Image and around 3,400 Profi stores, with significant revenue reported in 2025.
