Mediul plăteşte pentru inventarul speciilor alogene dăunătoare

The Ministry of Environment in Romania has initiated a 22 million lei tender for services aimed at inventorying and mapping invasive alien species, assessing their impact on biodiversity. This project, funded by the Operational Program for Sustainable Development 2021-2027, must be completed by October 2029. It focuses on the intensive national inventory and mapping of invasive plant species, updating protocols, and evaluating the ecological impact of these species. The project is crucial for aligning Romania with EU environmental standards, given the extensive data collection and diverse species involved. Invasive alien species threaten native biodiversity and can disrupt local ecosystems.
