The municipal hospital in Blaj has recently welcomed ten new doctors and established four new specialties: urology, diabetology, gastroenterology, and oncology. Mayor Gheorghe Rotar emphasized the hospital's commitment to providing quality conditions for medical professionals and highlighted the recent advancements in medical equipment, including a state-of-the-art ultrasound machine. The hospital is currently serving a growing patient base from three counties, particularly in urology. However, there is an urgent need for pediatricians, and efforts are being made to attract more specialists to the facility.
