A doctor from Târgu Jiu, Liliana Predescu, tragically died in a traffic accident while crossing the street illegally. The 63-year-old ORL specialist was struck by a car driven by a 38-year-old man. Despite attempts to resuscitate her, she was pronounced dead at the scene. The police investigation revealed that the accident occurred outside a designated crossing, and the driver tested negative for alcohol.
