Medic chirurg din Craiova, condamnat definitiv pentru ucidere din culpă într-un dosar privind decesul unui pacient

A surgeon was sentenced to two and a half years in prison, suspended, for manslaughter following a patient's death during surgery at Craiova County Emergency Hospital. The court also prohibited him from practicing medicine for four years. The appeals from the surgeon and the hospital were rejected, while the victim's family received increased damages totaling €150,000. The incident occurred in September 2019 when the surgeon accidentally severed a major artery, leading to the patient's death.
