Măsuri pentru siguranța zborurilor: Aeroporturile Otopeni și Băneasa, dotate cu sisteme antidronă
Bucharest's Otopeni and Băneasa airports are set to acquire advanced anti-drone systems to enhance flight safety. The National Company Bucharest Airports (CNAB) is currently assessing costs for training, maintenance, and repairs of these systems. The consultation process will conclude on September 9, with requirements for the systems to operate day and night, regardless of weather conditions. This initiative responds to the increasing incidents involving drones, which pose risks to critical infrastructure, particularly in restricted airspace around airports. Romania already has an anti-drone system in place with the Civil Aviation Authority.
