Apple and Ford are expanding their partnership, integrating Apple Maps as the native navigation system in future electric vehicles. This system will operate directly on vehicle screens without needing an iPhone. It will provide real-time navigation, route planning for electric vehicles, and battery charging optimization. The collaboration also includes the development of semi-autonomous driving systems through Ford's Latitude A.I. division, with the first vehicle featuring this technology being an electric pickup expected in 2027.
