Maşinile din România care au risc de kilometraj dat înapoi cu 50% mai mare. "E o metodă folosită frecvent pentru a le umfla valoarea"

A study reveals that damaged cars in Romania are 1.5 times more likely to have altered mileage compared to undamaged ones. 8.7% of damaged vehicles had falsified mileage, while 5.9% of undamaged cars did. Buyers often prefer lower mileage cars, leading dishonest sellers to roll back odometers to inflate prices. The study indicates a strong correlation between falsified mileage and hidden damages, with 67.1% of cars with altered mileage also having damage records. In Europe, 61% of cars with altered mileage had damage records, compared to 47.8% of those with real mileage. The research analyzed vehicle history reports from 18 countries, including Romania, from January to December 2025.
