The Russian government reinstated Euro-2 fuel amid supply issues caused by Ukrainian drone attacks on refineries, despite having banned it in 2013. This fuel type can contain up to 500 mg of sulfur per kilogram, far exceeding modern standards. Not only Chinese cars are affected; all modern engines may suffer damage from high-sulfur fuel, leading to potential long-term issues for drivers.
