Six individuals are under investigation for importing and selling luxury cars stolen from Canada, using forged documents in Romania. The police conducted searches in Bucharest and surrounding areas, uncovering two BMW X5 vehicles that were fraudulently registered and sold to unsuspecting buyers. The estimated financial loss is around 120,000 euros. Among the suspects is an employee of the Romanian Auto Registry, who allegedly failed to report the vehicles' legal issues.
