The police conducted searches in Bucharest and surrounding areas, uncovering two BMW X5 vehicles that were fraudulently registered and sold to unsuspecting buyers. The estimated financial loss is around 120,000 euros. Among the suspects is an employee of the Romanian Auto Registry, who allegedly failed to report the vehicles' legal issues. The investigation continues, focusing on fraud and related offenses in international car trafficking.
