Italy has introduced a new program allowing low-income families to rent a new car for just 100 euros per month, provided they scrap an old, polluting vehicle. The initiative aims to modernize the country's aging car fleet and is available to those with an ISEE under 30,000 euros. Eligible participants must dispose of a vehicle that meets Euro 4 standards, and the rental contract lasts a minimum of 36 months, with an option to purchase the car at a 10% discount at the end.
