The 35-year-old Swiss driver claimed he was unaware of the vehicle's status. The car, registered in Switzerland, was flagged for confiscation. After being stopped by police, the driver stated he purchased it from an unknown person. The vehicle is now held by the Romanian authorities pending legal proceedings.
