Marș al minorităţii rome din Ungaria pe 17 noiembrie, în Budapesta

On October 17, representatives of the Roma community will march in Budapest to advocate for equal participation in public life. The event, called the Day of Dignity and Pride of the Roma, aims to highlight the need for collaboration with democratic actors in Hungary. A manifesto titled 'We Have an Offer – A Common Homeland Can Only Be Built Together' will be presented, emphasizing the importance of Roma expertise in policy-making. Despite progress since the regime change, social exclusion and inequality persist for many Roma. The march will start at Blaha Lujza Square and feature large flags representing Hungary and the Roma community. The event promotes respect, belonging, and collective action for a stronger, fairer Hungary.
