Marina franceză capturează 2,4 tone de cannabis în largul Gibraltarului, după focuri de avertisment
A French Navy ship seized 2.4 tons of cannabis near the Strait of Gibraltar after a control operation that involved warning shots. The operation took place on July 8, when the amphibious helicopter carrier Dixmude spotted a suspicious vessel. An army helicopter was deployed to make contact, but the suspect boat refused to stop, leading to warning shots being fired. The traffickers discarded their cargo into the sea while escaping, but the French ship recovered the drugs, which were subsequently destroyed.
