Mările Europei intră pe un teritoriu „neexplorat”. Schimbările climatice, principala cauză
An international team of scientists reported a marine heatwave affecting coastal regions from Ireland to the Mediterranean, with temperatures up to 6°C above normal. The study analyzed water temperatures in four key areas, revealing that summer warming exceeded the global average of 1.4°C. The Celtic Sea recorded temperatures about 1.2°C above average, while the Mediterranean was up to 3°C warmer. Climate change was identified as the main driver, causing direct warming of approximately 2°C in the Mediterranean. Researchers warned of significant consequences for marine ecosystems and coastal communities due to rising temperatures.
