Members of the Romanian Association of Large Commercial Networks (AMRCR) have implemented measures to reduce energy consumption amid a national alert due to severe drought and energy crisis. These measures include limiting air conditioning use, turning off night advertising lights, and enhancing energy efficiency through LED lighting and temperature sensors. AMRCR emphasizes their responsibility to the communities they serve and aims to alleviate pressure on the national energy system while ensuring commercial continuity. The interim Prime Minister has also urged major consumers to voluntarily reduce their energy use as Romania faces an acute electricity crisis.
