Marea Neagră a devenit cea mai periculoasă rută maritimă din lume, scrie Financial Times
The Black Sea has become the most dangerous maritime route globally, surpassing the Persian Gulf in sailor fatalities this year. With over 570 vessels attacked and at least 40 sailors killed, the region poses significant risks due to ongoing conflicts between Russia and Ukraine. Attacks have intensified, with an average of four incidents daily, leading to increased insurance costs and reluctance among shipping companies to operate in the area. The situation has escalated since the start of the Ukraine invasion, with both sides targeting vessels indiscriminately, raising concerns about maritime safety and trade disruptions.
