Marea Dictare Națională la Chișinău, de Ziua Limbii Române

Thousands gathered in Chișinău for the 'Great National Dictation' event, celebrating Romanian Language Day. Over 3,000 participants registered this year, the highest since the competition began. Organized by the Ministry of Education, the event promotes the correct use of Romanian. The best submissions will be awarded in September. President Maia Sandu emphasized the importance of preserving the Romanian language for future generations in her social media message. Romanian Language Day is celebrated annually on August 31, marking its status as the state language since 1989.
