Marea Britanie își crește dependența față de SpaceX. 40 de milioane de dolari, cheltuiți pentru servicii de satelit
The UK has invested nearly $40 million in SpaceX's satellite services for military communications, despite European concerns about reliance on US security infrastructure. This makes the UK the first country to officially integrate SpaceX's Starshield into its military operations. The British Ministry of Defence has acquired around 1,000 Starshield terminals and 500 Starlink terminals, with significant funds allocated for both services. The announcement comes as European governments seek to enhance their defense capabilities amid calls for greater security focus from Washington. The UK military has been using Starlink networks since last year, while also maintaining its own satellite communication network, Skynet.
