MApN: Ţinte aeriene detectate aproape de Insula Şerpilor. Nu au intrat în spaţiul românesc. S-au raportat explozii pe partea ucraineană
On Monday evening, Romania's radar system detected two aerial targets approaching its border, prompting the deployment of Spanish F-18 aircraft for monitoring. A RO-ALERT message was sent to alert the population in northern Tulcea County. The targets disappeared from radar shortly after, with explosions reported in Ukraine. The Romanian Ministry of Defense confirmed no incursions into national airspace. Following the discovery of drone fragments in Tuzla, which were identified as Ukrainian and carrying explosives, the interim Defense Minister expressed concerns over the increasing frequency of such incidents. He noted that the military has responded multiple times to recover drone debris.
