On Sunday, the Romanian Ministry of National Defense reported the detection of an aerial target near the Ukrainian border, prompting public alert measures. The radar system identified the target around 09:30, leading to a RO-Alert message for the Tulcea County population. Shortly after detection, the target could no longer be tracked and did not enter national airspace. Alert measures were lifted by 09:52. Last week, Romanian Air Forces shot down three drones over three consecutive days, with one incident involving a Shahed drone near Buzău.
