On August 12-13, the Romanian Ministry of National Defense's radar system detected five aerial targets near Ismail, Ukraine. One target briefly entered Romanian airspace, prompting alerts and the deployment of F-16 aircraft for monitoring. The alert for northern Tulcea County ended at 02:42. In July, Romanian Air Forces shot down three drones over three consecutive days, including a Shahed drone near Buzău.
