The Ministry of National Defense has announced the start of recruitment for the second series of professional soldiers and non-commissioned officers, offering 2,172 positions nationwide. Eligible candidates must be aged between 18 and 45 and have completed at least ten grades. The training lasts 12 weeks, beginning on December 7, 2026. In Alba County, there are 18 available positions, with 14 in Alba Iulia and 4 in Sebeș. Candidates can apply directly at military units and must submit various documents, including identity and educational certificates. The selection process includes psychological evaluation, physical fitness assessment, and medical examination. Participants receive a monthly salary and benefits during training, and upon completion, they are granted the rank of soldier and assigned to a military unit.
