MApN anunță sprijin pentru gestionarea incidentului produs în Marea Neagră, unde o navă petrolieră a fost lovită
On July 21, 2026, the Romanian Ministry of National Defense announced its readiness to assist in managing an incident involving the Gas Lisbon tanker in the Black Sea. The ministry has prepared a Puma Naval helicopter and two military vessels for support, with additional forces available if needed. A navigation warning has been issued to avoid the affected area. The Gas Lisbon, carrying over 3,790 tons of propane, suffered damage near Sfântu Gheorghe while en route to Ukraine. All 17 crew members were safely evacuated, and the injured received medical care in Sulina. The Romanian Army intervenes only in military threats, as per the law.
