MApN a recepționat primele vehicule blindate COBRA II fabricate în România

The Romanian Ministry of National Defense has received the first locally produced COBRA II armored vehicles, marking a significant step in the country's defense modernization and local production capabilities. This initiative aims to enhance Romania's military capabilities while fostering the national defense industry through technology transfer and job creation. The production of these vehicles is set to continue over the next five years, with a total of 1,059 units ordered, of which over 780 will be manufactured in Romania. The project is part of a broader NATO commitment to increase defense investments and strengthen local industrial bases.
