The Minister of Education, Mihai Dimian, announced the approval of school textbooks for the 9th grade after successful bids for 63 subjects, while nine subjects are under contestation. The procurement process for contested subjects will proceed once resolved. Dimian acknowledged the efforts that reduced the procurement duration from 10 to 7 months and expressed understanding of the delays. He emphasized the need for timely preparation for the 10th-grade textbooks to ensure availability by August 2027. Support materials for 9th-grade students and teachers have been provided, along with previous textbooks that partially meet current curricula requirements.
