The interim Minister of Education, Mihai Dimian, announced the approval of textbooks for the 9th grade in 63 subjects, with 9 subjects pending contestation resolution. The procurement process has been shortened to about seven months. For the 10th grade, documentation must be ready by the end of the month to ensure textbooks are available by August 2027. Support materials have been provided for 9th-grade students and teachers, while previous textbooks are also accessible. The procurement process involved 250 proposals and 21 publishers, with contracts lasting eight years for high school textbooks. Students began the school year without new textbooks, and digital versions will be available online.
