In Suceava, mannequins resembling children have been placed at a crosswalk near a school to enhance pedestrian safety. The city plans to install similar figures at all school and kindergarten crossings. The initiative aims to prompt drivers to slow down instinctively when approaching these areas. The vice mayor stated that this is just the beginning, with plans to extend the project to 15 additional crosswalks in high-risk zones. The goal is to reduce the number of accidents involving minors.
