Malmaison, de la închisoare secretă la refugiu pentru artă: O clădire cu trecut traumatic, renăscută prin speranță
Malmaison, a historic building in Bucharest, has transformed from a military barracks and communist detention center into an artistic refuge. Established in 2020, the Atelierele Malmaison community supports 35 artists, fostering creativity in this renovated space. The latest exhibition, "a New Hope," showcases installations throughout the building, reflecting its rich history and recent use as a film set. Originally built in 1844, Malmaison honors Franco-Roman military ties, named after Joséphine's residence, symbolizing a cultural rebirth.
