On October 3, five drones were detected in Moldovan airspace, leading to explosions and debris found in various regions. Sandu stated that Russian airstrikes, including Banderol missiles and drones, violated Moldovan airspace, endangering lives across Europe. The Ministry of Defense confirmed the drone sightings and ongoing monitoring of the airspace in collaboration with relevant authorities and international partners. Debris from the drones caused a fire in Crocmaz, resulting in material damage.
