She warned that Russian control would lead to international isolation for Moldova. Sandu noted that Moldova has reduced its energy dependence on Russia, which previously used this as leverage. Despite this, Russia is now employing sophisticated methods like information manipulation to influence Moldova's political landscape. Sandu reassured that there is currently no imminent threat from Russian military advances near Moldova's borders, as Russian forces are not making significant progress in Ukraine.
