Mai rău ca în pandemie: Cum a blocat atacul cibernetic de la Cadastru vânzările de case și apartamente din toată țara - Economica.net

A cyber attack in July severely impacted the Romanian real estate market, leading to the lowest residential transaction volume in a decade. Although there was a recovery in September, the third quarter ended with a significant decline in sales, particularly in Bucharest and Ilfov. The attack disrupted the National Agency for Cadastre and Real Estate Publicity's IT systems, causing transactions to drop to historic lows. Despite a gradual recovery, the overall quarterly results showed a 33% decrease in Bucharest and Ilfov and a 17% decline nationally. However, potential remains in the market, as indicated by strong sales in September, especially in Timiș, while Brașov saw a significant drop in sales.
