In Timișoara, less than 40% of public transport users validate their tickets, despite increased revenue from ticket sales. The STPT director highlights ongoing challenges in ticket validation, even as sales have risen significantly. A new monitoring system is being implemented to better estimate passenger numbers, but many beneficiaries of free rides fail to validate their cards.
