The extension of Metro Line 3 to Chiajna has received approval from the Bucharest General Council, moving forward in the administrative process. This project includes a 3.3-kilometer section with two planned above-ground stations to serve Militari Residence and the commercial area. The route will start from Preciziei and continue westward, aligning with the CFR corridor and Bucharest's Beltway before reaching Chiajna. The exact locations of the stations will be determined in future technical studies. The approval allows for the preparation of necessary documentation involving Metrorex and local authorities, with feasibility studies to clarify the project's details.
