Maghiarul Barnabas Vas a câștigat etapa a treia a Turului României la ciclism, compatriotul său Andras Gustav Pakot a preluat tricoul galben

Hungarian cyclist Barnabas Vas won the third stage of the 2026 Tour of Romania, while his compatriot Andras Gustav Pakot took the yellow jersey. The stage, covering 198.4 km from Piatra Neamț to Băile Balvanyos, featured a challenging mountainous route. Vas completed the race in 4 hours, 26 minutes, and 54 seconds, followed closely by Enea Sambinello from Italy and Pakot. The stage marked a transition from flat terrain to more demanding climbs. Pakot now leads the general classification by two seconds over Sambinello and Ronan O'Connor. The fourth stage is set to take place between Brașov and Ploiești, covering 165 km.
