Magazin online protejat: cum eviți amenzile și atacurile cibernetice

A new initiative encourages small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Romania to assess their cybersecurity needs using free tools provided by the National Cyber Security Coordination Center (NCC-RO). Director Ana-Maria Bușunoiu emphasized the importance of cybersecurity for SMEs, which are particularly vulnerable to cyberattacks that could lead to bankruptcy. The NCC-RO offers a methodology on their website to help businesses determine their compliance with European regulations like NIS 2 and the Cyber Resilience Act. While there are many specialized companies offering cybersecurity services, the need for funding exceeds what the European Commission can provide. Non-compliance can result in significant fines, making cybersecurity a necessity for all businesses.
