The Ministry condemned the serious breach, linking it to ongoing Russian attacks on Ukraine. Officials stated these incidents threaten Moldova's security and called for an immediate halt to Russian actions. The most severe incident occurred near Brănești, where a drone exploded close to a public road, prompting temporary traffic suspension and airspace closure. The drones were detected in various locations, with the first crashing in Hîrbovăț and the last entering near Ivancea–Brănești.
