MAE condamnă desfășurarea ilegală, în teritoriile temporar ocupate ale Ucrainei și în regiunea transnistreană a R.Moldova, a alegerilor pentru Duma de Stat a Federației Ruse

The Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the illegal elections for the Russian State Duma in occupied Ukrainian territories and Transnistria, asserting these actions violate international law. Romania firmly rejects any attempts to legitimize Russia's illegal actions through electoral processes, emphasizing that such elections have no legal effect. The ministry also denounced the organization of the elections in Transnistria without the consent of Moldova's authorities, which undermines Moldova's sovereignty. Romania reaffirms its support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine and Moldova, opposing any unilateral actions by Russia that threaten international legal order.
